THE COMMON APPLICATION

"The Common Application is a not-for-profit member
organization of more than 700 influential colleges and
universities in the United States and around the world. Building
on our mission and 40+ year history of pursuing access, equity,
and integrity in the college admission process, The Common
Application works to close the equity gap by educating all
students—regardless of circumstance—about the value,
attainability, and affordability of a college degree.
Our membership of more than 700 colleges and universities
provides students with the most diverse range of opportunities:
• Colleges from 48 states plus Washington, D.C.
• More than 250 colleges with no application fee
• 100+ public universities
• 44 international universities from 14 countries
• 9 Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs)
• More than 200 test-optional/test-flexible institutions"
